Welcome to Waukee Northwest High School – Home of the Wolves!
It is a tremendous honor to be the Activities Director at Northwest High School,
where our activities are a great source of school and community pride. Our
students, coaches, and directors are dedicated to excellence and work tirelessly to
represent our school with distinction. We believe the lessons learned through
participation in extracurricular activities— discipline, perseverance, commitment,
and leadership—leave a lasting impact on our students well beyond their time here.
Northwest High School is proud to have over 75% of our student body involved in
at least one extracurricular activity. Whether in athletics, the arts, or academic
competition, our students consistently perform and compete at the highest levels.
Their success is supported by a passionate and loyal fan base that helps make every
event a memorable experience for all.
Athletically, we are a proud member of the Central Iowa Metro League (CIML)
—the largest athletic league in the state. Our school competes in 21 interscholastic
sports, and our teams continue to build a tradition of excellence and sportsmanship.
Beyond athletics, our award-winning programs in vocal and instrumental music,
dance, cheerleading, drama, speech and debate offer students additional
opportunities to shine. On the field, on the stage, and in the classroom, Northwest
students are achieving incredible things.
As we enter our fifth year, we already have a growing list of championships and
accolades, but what we value most is the growth and development of our
students—academically, socially, and personally.
At Northwest High School, we are committed to excellence in all we do. We hold
ourselves to a standard of excellence, not only in competition but in character,
integrity, and values. We look forward to continuing the ascension of our activities
department together.
Thank you for supporting Northwest Activities. GO WOLVES!
