Activities Welcome - Wolves Activities

268Welcome to Waukee Northwest High School, HOME OF THE WOLVES!  Northwest  Activities are a source of community pride.  Our students, coaches and directors work extremely hard to be the best we can be.  We believe that lessons learned as a participant in an extracurricular activity have a positive impact on the lives of students.  Activities are important at Northwest High School, and as a result, over 75% of the student body participates in an extracurricular activity.  We compete and perform at a high level, and our fans and their support make every Northwest event a special occasion.

Athletically, Northwest competes in the largest and most competitive athletic league in the state, the Central Iowa Metro League, as a member of the Iowa Conference.  We compete interscholastically in 21 sports.  Northwest also offers award-winning programs in vocal and instrumental music, dance, cheerleading, speech, debate, drama, and quiz bowl.

Our students are winners on the court, in the field, and on stage.  As a new school, we have already had many victories and championships to celebrate but more importantly, we value our success in the classroom.

We are committed to helping ensure that our teams, ensembles and groups achieve the highest standards of excellence, not just in competition, but also in integrity, values and character.

Thanks for supporting Northwest Activities and GO WOLVES!
