The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union is officially offering girls wrestling as a sanctioned sport. This decision will be effective in the 2022-23 school year. Girls wrestling is the organization’s 11th sport. The unanimous vote by the Union Board of Directors was held on January 12, 2022.
