Waukee and Northwest Host Combined Dance Marathon
The student council from both Waukee and Waukee Northwest are putting on a combined dance marathon event to help fight childhood cancer. They are partnering with the University of Iowa Dance Marathon with all of the proceeds of the event going to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 4th from 6-9 pm at the Waukee Innovation and Learning Center (WILC). There will be dancing, food, guest speakers, and fun activities such as an escape room, trivia, and backyard games.
All students in grades 10-12 are welcome to attend this event and come together as one district for a great cause! Tickets are $15 and must be bought online.
